As I've been saying all along, I work at the local SPCA/Animal Shelter, and I rescue & rehab birds (and any other wildlife I get in). I started rebahing when I got Keys in June of 2003 and I started to official work at the SPCA in July of 2005. I left my job at the shelter and left home in March of '07 to move to Saskatchewan to work on a warmblood horse ranch. While there I did the barn duties : muck stalls, tackup horses, turn-out, feeding and watering, and meds when needed. I also worked with the ranches 60+ head of cattle, gone a number of cattle drives and got hands on experience on a round-up for banding (rode western for this :P ). But while I was there my boss did teach my how to ride english (which was totally awesome!!). I have since come home from the "Wild West" because I was offered a show groom position much closer to home.
I do play the piano when I get time. I started playing in 1999 and have been playing since. I play at a Master Degree Level (university level) and have traveled to the Ukraine to take lessons from world class teachers. I spent about 2 1/2 weeks there and a few days in Istabul, Turkey, SHOPPING in the "Grand Bazziar" and sight seeing all over the city (European side and Asian side). I missed my first week of grade 10 but it was worth it. A total of 3 weeks I spent away from home which was the longest I've been away from home EVER. Not to mention it was my first time on a plane and my first time leaving Canada all together!! ~*SCARY*~
My other hobbies are {when I get time} reading, writing, painting, other little crafts, playing pool on the internet, chating with friends, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, walking Belle, and listening to music (classical, instumental, etc.--none of that other stuff :P), and horse back riding whenever I possibly can (just LOVE it!!).
Well that's about all I can think of right now. But I'll be updating all this soon!!

This is Yohan, a purebred Fjord horse. He's 7 years old, stubborn but an absolute sweet~heart just for me I'm told. He's not mine but I wish it wasn't true!lol;) So far I've only ever riden Western but one day I hope to ride English.
