HOW I GOT..............
Keys
He was shot, resulting in a broken wing and multipul wounds. I caught him and cared for him until he was well, but the damage was done; he could no longer fly more than 10ft.
June 2003
Eyegone
She was attack by a cat and lost her eye (thus her name). I caught and cared for her but decided not to release her because of her missing eye (can get blind-sided by perditors).
October 2003
Together
I thought that Eyegone was a male but it turned out to be a female. She laid her first egg in December 2003. It was infertile, so it didn't hatch. Finally on my birthday (March 3rd) one of the eggs hatched!!! Unfortunatly the chick died because Eyegone or Keys didn't know what to do and neither did I. But she laid two more eggs and they both hatched on April 25th (Zara) and 28th (Speckles) of 2004.
